Arketip Evler

Mr. Emre Arolat, architect, created Arketip Evler, starting with the initial model and integrating exterior living spaces of authentic Turkish/Anatolian houses, use of terrace named as “veranda, havuş (as called in the vicinity of Antakya) or porch (ayazlık)” with present day comfort (in consideration of human behaviors developed and modified by experiences).

The linear planimetry developed with the alignment of common floor hall placed on a regular carrier system, flat service and wet areas, corridor, main areas and terraces has been maintained in every different size of housing unit uninterruptedly therefore, the flats have been ensured to benefit from the daylight in the best manner. This system has also allowed for the changes in the size of flats that could arise in the construction period. The deep space, which has been transformed into an attractive common area in the north-south direction with the detachment of the linear blocks placed in the east-west direction in the middle sections, has established a strong relationship with the social facility organized under the main landscape elevation, while the spaces between the blocks have been arranged as private gardens. These detachments have allowed the creation of large covered terraces, which are used by the flats on the upper floors. Thanks to these details, Arketip Evler shine like a star in Göktürk region.
